Pre-Release National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) Specifications

The TRCC is in the process of developing a number of XML Information Exchange Process Descriptions (IEPD) or schema for traffic records data exchanges based on the National Information Exchange Model definitions.  Provided below are the currently available schemas:

Additional Interface Documentation

While the IEPD provides developers with a specification for reading and writing interface content, further details are required in order to fully implement an interface.  These details, including the mapping of NIEM and code values to the paper forms and detailed web service specifications are available here.
